1.0       Objective

     To lay down a procedure for transfer of material from Microbial Limit test aera.

      2.0        Responsibility

      Microbiologist/QC-Executive.

      4 0         Procedure

4.1       Clean the pass box, before placing the material inside the pass box .

4.2       Clean the exterior surface of the sample poly bag or container with 70%v/v filtered Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA).

4.3       Place the material inside the pass box.

4.4       In case of glassware or media, place the material inside the pass box and expose the UV for not less then 5 minutes.

4.5       If the material contains sample to be analyzed or for further incubation, then the UV shall be switched OFF during its transfer.

4.6                   Take out the material from another side of pass box.
